WE NEED YOUR HELP
Since the earthquake of 2010, our resources have been used up feeding 2000 kids, providing schooling and sport training for kids aged 6 to 19 years old, and supporting our new hospital/cholera center.
We are running out of money
We need your help so that we can keep our coaches and teachers on the payroll, the children fed one meal per day, and to expand the free school program to meet the needs of the people still without permanent shelters.

Thank you for considering a donation to LADH. Please know that 100% of your donated dollars will go directly to feeding and educating the children at LADH. If you wish, you may also contact us and direct your donation to a specific effort. If you have any questions about LADH or how your donation will be used, please do not hesitate to contact us
As a reference, below are estimated costs for operating LADH.
LADH operates on a shoestring budget and, truly, no gift is too small.
Nutrition
- $25 – feed one child for a month on the recommended diet
- $300 feeds a child for one year
Education
- $150 – pay school fees, buy textbooks, exercise books and a school uniform for one child for a year
- $2,500 - send every child at LADH to school for a year
Staff and Facilities
- $2500 – hire a trained part-time counselor/coach for a year
- $500 add one computer to our school
- $12,000- pay our coaches and teachers for one month
- $10,000 computer lab
Please note that LADH is in the process of applying for IRS 501(c)3 status in the US. LADH is a non profit foundation in Haiti with a US partner for our donors who wish to make a tax deductible donation. Donors who need a tax deduction IRS number can utilize our US partner, Operation USA Inc., which is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Please contact us for the 501(c)3 paper after you make your donation.

I have many pair of shoes in good condition, adult to kids sizes. Several of these are soccer cleats in great condition, what is the best way to get these to you?
A message has been sent to a danish group of parents , who have adopted children from Haiti.
We have been asked to help the victims among the 25 volunteers in Simonette who were involved in the dreadfull collision between their little truck, bringing them back and a dump-truck.
I presume that some would be interested in sending a financial contribution via wire transfer.
